A new drive-thru restaurant for Hedon Road

We are excited to be bringing forward proposals for a new McDonald’s drive-thru restaurant off Hedon Road in Hull. We are preparing a planning application for submission to Hull City Council. Subject to planning approval, our plans will redevelop an underutilised site and deliver jobs and investment.

Our apprenticeships programme has already given over 19,500 people a flying start to their careers since 2006. We’re now increasing our ambitions to ensure that, as with all our employment opportunities, our apprentices will be representative of the communities in which we serve.

LitterOur position on littering

Littering is an offence. We are unhappy when customers choose to dispose of their litter irresponsibly. We do everything we can to encourage people to make the right choices when throwing away McDonald’s packaging. We conduct at least three daily litter picks to collect all litter in the vicinity of the restaurant, not just McDonald’s packaging.

Our new Drive-Thru restaurant will create around 100 new jobs, in a range of full and part time roles.
