We are in the process of bringing forward proposals for a new McDonald’s Drive-Thru restaurant at Riverside Avenue, Dundee, which will deliver new jobs and investment.

About our public consultation

As part of our commitment to community engagement, we are currently hosting a public consultation to enable members of the local community to view and comment on our emerging proposal for a new Drive-Thru restaurant at Riverside Avenue, Dundee.

We value the input of the local community and are delighted to be holding a consultation event on Wednesday 16th April between 3-7pm at the Bonar Hall (Park Place, Dundee, DD1 4HN).The feedback received at this event will be incorporated into the final proposals that will be submitted to Dundee City Council later this year.

BinOur position on littering

Littering is an offence. We are unhappy when customers choose to dispose of their litter irresponsibly. We do everything we can to encourage people to make the right choices when throwing away McDonald’s packaging and want to work with residents, tidy groups and Councils to tackle this issue together.

PeopleSupporting local services

If approved, our new Drive-Thru restaurant will generate between £50,000 and £60,000 in business rates (per year) for Dundee City Council to help fund key local services.

HandshakeCreating new jobs

Our new Drive-Thru restaurant will create up to 100 new jobs, in a range of full and part time roles in addition to over 450 already employed throughout Dundee.
