The site

The proposed site is located to the south of Riverside Avenue, Dundee. The site is located near Riverside Nature Park, and is a central location within the city, benefiting from strong transport links. The site is bordered by major roads, including the A85, with connections to the Tay Road Bridge and the A90.

Subject to planning approval, our emerging proposals would include a single McDonald’s drive-thru restaurant with electric vehicle charging bays at the site, helping to provide more local services for residents in the area. 

The creation of a new drive-thru restaurant in this location would also deliver a range of economic benefits, including significant investment in the local economy and the creation of approximately 100 new jobs, in a range of full and part-time positions.
