The benefits of a new McDonald’s for Kirkby-in-Ashfield 

McDonald’s wants to invest further in Ashfield. To achieve this, we have submitted a planning application for a McDonald’s at a brownfield site off Lane End in Kirkby-in-Ashfield. 

A new McDonald’s development would bring a new modern restaurant and drive-thru to town and a range of other benefits too, such as: 

EconomyDeliver jobs for local people

Deliver more than 80 new jobs for local people, in a range of full and part-time positions.

MoneyFunding for key local services

McDonald’s will generate £51,000 in business rates per year for Ashfield District Council that could help fund local services.

PeopleSupporting the community

The locally franchised restaurant will support our programme of community sponsorship and volunteering across Kirkby-in-Ashfield.

FoodImproving local food choice

McDonald’s will provide residents of Kirkby-in-Ashfield with a greater choice of food and drink.
