Sustainability

At McDonald’s we want the best for our environment. We share Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council’s commitment to addressing the climate crisis which we all face. To achieve this, we will include the following measures to create a sustainable development:

• We are committed to achieving net zero carbon emissions by 2040 – this restaurant has been designed with this goal in mind.
• We aim to source all our packaging from renewable and recyclable materials by 2025. 80% of kitchen waste will be recycled.
• 100% of the power used by the restaurant will be sourced from renewable sources.
